Two exciting new novels are in the works! Loss Of InnocenceHe hated it when the victim was a child. Speeding along the West Paces Ferry Road, to the murder scene, Detective Gabe Winters drives like he’s trying to leave thoughts of his recent break up and the hurt caused his brother, behind in a cloud of dust. His only goal now is to find the murderer and there are more than enough suspects. Jan Holland is a single parent who knows exactly what she wants, a front page by line on the Atlanta Gazette and respect as a serious reporter. Now she has her chance to get it. She is one of the first reporters on the scene of a child’s murder. The only thing standing in her way is a rude, obnoxious detective who looks like Mel Gibson, and is blocking her chance for story-breaking interviews. In another time she would definitely have been interested in this man, but after the birth of her son with Downs Syndrome, any hope of a serious relationship with any man was dashed. Proceeding with the investigation becomes difficult as Detective Gabe Winters continues to trip over this zealous reporter who gave his heart a jolt the first time he looked into her eyes and then ushered her off the property. She keeps popping up in places where she shouldn’t be. She won’t go away so to prevent her interfering with the investigation, he insists she research her story by following him as he proceeds with the interviewing and amassing evidence. His motive is not strictly professional as they work through the suspects, narrowing down the list. At the same time they work through their own attraction to each other and some of the obstacles that stand in the way of a relationship together. Not satisfied with just tagging along after the detective, Jan follows leads on her own time, using journalistic sources. Deciding she can get more information without the presence of a male detective, she finds her own life in jeopardy when she discovers the identity of the killer. Gabe makes the same discovery, but may not be able to reach Jan in time.
Runaway DoctorDuster, Montana, it was worse than anything she’d imagined. Dr. Alexandra Parsons has been refused the residency in heart surgery that she was counting on to win her fathers approval. Anger and disappointment cause her to run from New York City where she accepts a position as a general practitioner in a small town clinic. On arrival she's so depressed by the town she decides to refuse the position and go home. She stays to work in the clinic with the Dr. Luke Detwiller. He's tall, dark and drop dead gorgeous. He's also a good doctor and actually respects women as equals. This is a whole new concept for Alex. She finds herself drawn into the lives of the towns’ people as well as their medical conditions. She’s accepted into the community and gradually grows to appreciate and love the people, as well as the excitement of doing general practice. Alex also finds herself spending a lot of time with Dr. Detwiller. Luke Detwiller was born and raised in Duster. It’s his home and he loves the town and it’s people. He’s been looking for the right woman to share his life with but hasn’t been able to find anyone with the right combination of beauty, brains and compassion – until now. Alex Parsons seems to fit the bill but she’s a city girl, who doesn’t want anything to do with him and can’t wait to get back to the city. Not only that, but she’s become interested in Darwin McLeod, a dangerous man as far as Luke is concerned. But if he tries to warn Alex she could take it the wrong way. Now Alex has a stalker. She's forced to move in with Luke, but the stalker has become more sinister. Luke knows what he wants but can her protect her?
